Margarita Ortiz Rivera, 69, originally of Aibonito, Puerto Rico, died on March 11, 2014 in Orange City, Florida. Margarita Ortiz, daughter of Felipe Ortiz and Jesusa Rivera, was a loving mother of 7 children. She is survived by her 7 children (3 daughters and 4 sons: Julian, Marilyn, Hector, Rosa, Jose, Ena, and Raul). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Margarita worked in the domestic and commercial cleaning services industry until she retired in 2006. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends. She dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and had an amazing faith in God. Her great sense of community showed in the way she was always willing to help anyone in need. She always remembered not only the numerous birthdays of her relatives and friends, but everyone she knew. Margarita loved the game Sudoku and was very good at it. Some would even say she was addicted to playing it. Margarita will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
