Mary Ann Smith, 83, Deltona, Florida died Thursday,January 6, 2011 at The Health Center of the Alliance Community, Deland. She was born on October 22, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York to George and Elizabeth Knapp Faulkner.Mary and her late husband , Martin, moved to Deltona in 1966 from Levittown, New York. Mary was a former receiving clerk for Wal Mart of Orange City. She was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening and sewing. Mary Ann Smith is survived by 2 sons- Michael Smith of Orlando and Robert Smith of Deltona;3 Daughters-Patricia Smith Jackson of Orange City, Kathleen Smith of Deltona and Ann Marie Smith of Deltona; 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren. Inurnment will be at Deltona Memorial Gardens. The family prefers memorial donations to Hospice of Volusia- Flagler in memory of Mary Ann Smith. Arrangements are under the direction of Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, Orange City, Florida
