Norma C Torres Rivera

For more than 35 years, Norma Torres fought a courageous and relentless battle against cancer. Throughout her long and arduous journey, she never let her diagnosis define her. Instead, she approached every day with extraordinary faith, courage, and determination, becoming a beacon of strength and inspiration to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born on June 13 in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico, to Clemente Torres and Francisca Rivera, she graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a degree in Secretarial Studies. Norma loved gardening, crafting, and writing poetry. Above all, Norma was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her children, Arturo, Aileen, and Gabrielle. She also leaves behind her adored grandchildren and siblings, who will forever cherish her memory, her laugh, and the invaluable life lessons she imparted.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arturo Solá Quiñones, and her daughter, Aritza Solá.

Family and friends are invited to a mass celebrating her remarkable life on Saturday, May 30th, at 10:00 am at Saint Clare Catholic Church, 2961 Day Road, Deltona, FL 32738.

Durante más de 35 años, Norma Torres luchó una valiente y larga batalla contra el cáncer; en ese largo camino, ella nunca se rindió ante el diagnóstico. Norma enfrentó la vida con fe, valor y determinación, convirtiéndose en un ejemplo de fuerza e inspiración para todos quienes la conocieron.

Nacida el 13 de junio en Barranquitas, Puerto Rico, a Clemente Torres y Francisca Rivera. Norma se graduó de la Universidad de Puerto Rico con un diploma en estudios secretariales. Norma amaba la jardinería, la creatividad y la escritura de poesías. Sobre todo, Norma fue una esposa, madre, hermana, abuela y amiga devota. Le sobreviven sus hijos Arturo, Aileen y Gabrielle. Norma también deja atrás a sus adorados nietos y hermanos, quienes siempre recordarán su sonrisa y las lecciones sobre cómo vivir la vida.

Ella fue precedida en la muerte por su esposo, Arturo Solá Quiñones, y por su hija, Aritza Solá.

Se llevará a cabo una misa para celebrar su vida el sábado 30 de mayo a las 10:00 am en la Iglesia Católica Santa Clara, 2961 Day Road, Deltona, FL 32738.
