

Patricia Jo (Walsh) Gildea, 74, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 17, 2015. She was born March 13, 1941 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Joseph J. Walsh and Marie G. (Tomlinson) Walsh. She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Debary and has lived in Florida for 45 years. She worked over twenty years as a receptionist for Dr. David Rauschenberger in Orange City, then in medical billing at Associates in Medicine (AIM) in Daytona Beach before retiring in 2005. She was a wonderfully caring and fun woman who loved spending time with her family, whether boating, traveling, playing Rummikub, or enjoying a nice glass of wine. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 50 years, Harry F. Gildea; sister Mary K. Blough; two daughters Cheryl (Darren) Sabo of Xenia, OH, and Jackie Gildea of Astor, FL; three granddaughters Katherine Sabo, Kristen (Garrison) Reeves, and Karolyn Sabo; numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Regina Mae Blackburn. Pat will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 4pm on Tuesday, December 29 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Debary, with Father Peter Henry officiating. Gathering in the Parish Hall after service.
