Mr. Lauber was born on September 28, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of William and Millie Fox Lauber. He was employed by Cronin Construction for 19 1/2 years, and was currently employed with WLW Construction of Mt. Dora. He enjoyed hunting, NASCAR, 4-wheeling and traveling. He cheered on the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Chicago Bears. He was united in marriage to Sherry Dague on April 11, 1987 for 27 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry; daughter, Christina Lauber; step-son, Michael Allen Akers; his mother, Millie Davis; five brothers, William (Marisa) Lauber, Mark (Mary) Lauber, Joseph (Debi) Lauber, Eric (Nicole) Davis and Bruce (Pam) Davis; and two sisters, Katherine (Russell) Gatton and Barb (Bill) Fadrowski; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Lauber; his step-father, Chuck Davis and his step-mother, Dee Lauber.
Visitation was held Friday, July 25th from 6 – 8 pm. Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 26th at 11 am with Chaplain David Meyer officiating. Burial immediately followed in Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City.
