Richard Wayne Ragan

Richard was born on July 5, 1945 in Washington, D.C., the son of Paul Elmer and Margaret Schleigh Ragan. He was united in marriage to Barbara Lee Ragan. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Deltona, Local # 1010 of Orlando and the Painters and Allied Trade International of Washington, D.C. He had been employed as a glazier for over 25 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Barbara; daughters, Teresa Marie and husband, Harold, Christine Dawn and husband, Dave; 5 grandchildren, Adam John (AJ) , Rachel Dawn, Stephanie Nicole, David Walter and Allison Danielle, 1 great- granddaughter, Avalyn Melody Eve (Parents - Tehgan and AJ), 3 brothers, Paul, Raymond and Michael and their families, and one sister, Margaret and her family; mother-in-law, Catherine Helen Atwell; brother-in-law, Henry Atwell; sister-in-law, Penny Dawn and her husband, Rich and son, Ryan.

Friends may call on Thursday evening, October 18th from 6 – 8 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, FL, PH: 385-775-4260. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday morning, October 19th at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 1310 Maximillian Street, Deltona with Father Frank Cerio officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City, Florida.
