Mr. Smith was born on October 20, 1960, the son of Richard Cartwright and Wanda Sue Dempsey Smith. He was a stucco artist and worked with simulated brick stone in construction. He enjoyed fishing and boating. He was Baptist by faith.
He is survived by three sons, Roy B. Smith, Richard C. Smith III and James R. Mason; a daughter, Sandra R. Smith; two grandchildren, Stephen Tinney and Briana M. Mason; his father, Richard C. Smith and his mother, Wanda S. Adkins; two brothers, Shannon R. Smith and Ronald W. Adkins; and a sister, Tammie S. Hollifield.
Friends may call on Saturday, July 7th from 10 - 11 am at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, FL., PH: 386-775-4260. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, July 7th at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Enterprise, Florida.
