Mr. Robert W. Barr, age 91, of Deltona, FL passed away October 25, 2016. Robert was born on July 24, 1925 in Wakefield, MA, the son of Matthew and Stella Wentworth Barr. He is survived by his loving children, Russell (Ann) Barr, Robin (Vernon) Whissel and Roger (Elizabeth) Barr; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Robert was an active square dancer and belonged to the Starlight Promenades in Debary.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday October 29th from 2-4pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, FL. Funeral services will be held Sunday October 30th at 2 pm, at the funeral home officiated by Reverend John McLaurin from Deltona Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Hospice of Volusia Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
