Stanley P. Townsend

Stanley Paul Townsend, age 78, of Debary, Florida passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023. Stanley was born October 13, 1945 in Savannah Georgia to Julia Stanley Townsend and Alfred Townsend. Stanley was a practicing Attorney and former F.B.I. Agent.

He graduated from Armstrong State College of Savannah, GA and Barry University Law School.

He was a certified member of the Supreme Court of the United States and court appointed mediator. He was also a member of the Florida Bar Association and a Mason in the Scottish Rite bodies as well as being a member of the former FBI member Florida Crown Chapter. Stan balanced his professional life with an adventurous spirit and love of life. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and also loved hunting and fishing. He liked to play a little golf and snorkeling too.

Stanley was a devout Christian who loved the Lord.

He leaves behind a loving wife Rosalie Townsend of 40 years of marriage. He is also survived by his children; James Alfred Townsend, Kathy Townsend Moore & son in law Charles Jason Moore of Savannah, GA., Fabian Cadavid & daughter in law Debbie Cadavid of Debary FL., Alonso Cadavid of Deland FL., John David Cadavid & daughter in law Heather of Michigan. A devoted brother in law Anthony Scala & sister in law Dianne Scala of Long Island, NY. Special thanks to Brother in law Archie Amaral and sister in law Ann of Phoenix, AZ. Stanley also leaves behind eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren, he will be missed dearly by family and friends.
