Stephanie Priester

Stephanie D. Priester, 66, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026. She was born on April 27, 1959, in Miami, Florida, to the late Beatrice C. Steding and Willie B. Hayes Sr. Stephanie was a proud graduate of Miami Central Senior High School, Class of 1977. She carried strength, resilience, and faith throughout her life, touching the hearts of all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her brother, Willie B. Hayes Jr., and her granddaughter, Angel Hayes.

Stephanie’s beautiful life will forever be cherished by her loving children: Donald Smith, Jeffrey Hayes, and Thomasina (James) Burgess. She also leaves behind eight beloved grandchildren: Markesa Neely, MarkQuavious Neely, Jamaria Jones, Dasia Smith, Jayden Hayes, Jamya Jones, Kelvin Hayes, and Kehlani Hayes. One aunt, Willow Dean Cochran and her loving sisters Linda O’Neal and Karen Mc’gowan. Also, a dear cousin Susie Brown-Lampkin, special friend Tanya Whatley and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Stephanie will be remembered for her strength, her love for her family, and the faith she carried through every chapter of her life. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
