I've heard people say time will make it easier to move on, but i know how i feel, i know how real this love is. Doesnt matter how much time goes by,this moment will aways feel like yesterday to me. My heart grew with sorrow and disbelief when I heard the words spoken that my grandfather was no longer with us. These are the moments that are bitter sweet. I am pained by his loss of life and content with his relief of discomfort. He lived a long life full of good memories, surrounded by his children, supported by a loving wife and admired by his grandsons. While I did not have as much time as I would have liked to cultivate the relationship I would have wanted I do not have to search far to remember the times I did spend with him. We all were blessed to have shared this life with him and him with us. So here's to you Papa Russo, Godspeed on your journey. Your loving grandson.

My heart is deeply sadden for the passing of Pa. I remember those weekly Sunday dinners and time spent sitting next to him and the laughs we had over food and family. I always want to remember him as a vigorous man working in his garden and tending to his birds. I know he took much joy in his family and grandchildren . My thoughts and prayers go out to our family.
