Christine Crews, beloved mother and grandmother passed away March 12, 2012. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Green Cove Springs, a Sunday school teacher since 1953, VIA Devotion Chairman for 19 years was active in Sonshine Via De Cristo and Lay Witness Mission, and a certified Lay Speaker. She moved to Florida from Coffeyville, Kansas in 1939. Mrs. Crews and her husband ran a small farm for 36 years, raising beef cattle and chickens. Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 15, at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church of Green Cove Springs, with Rev. John Ragsdale officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until service time. Private family interment will follow service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Green Cove Springs Food Pantry, 1107 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Green Cove Springs, FL 32043, in her memory.
