

Deborah “Debbie” Jean Riddell, 72, of Middleburg, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 27, 1953, in Belding, Michigan, Debbie lived a life marked by love, service, and compassion.
A devoted homemaker, she poured her heart into raising her children and providing for her family, extending her kindness to anyone in need. Known as a godsend to many, Debbie had a gift for meeting people exactly where they were—offering comfort, encouragement, and unwavering support. Her deep love for others placed her in both beautiful and challenging situations, yet she never stopped seeing the good in people and rarely spoke an unkind word. She had a way of making difficult moments bearable and embraced life with a rare and vibrant joy.
She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Adams (Mark Racut) and Lauren Gay (Jason); her son, Justin Riddell (Stacey); six beloved grandchildren, Rylee, Jason, Josiah, Sariah, David, and River; her sister, Mary Curler; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will miss her dearly.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, August 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Middleburg First Baptist Church, 2645 Blanding Boulevard, Middleburg, Florida 32068.
Debbie’s legacy of kindness, service, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
