

Born in Hazleton, May 7, 1936, she resided in Jacksonville, FL for the past 16 years.
Dorothy was a graduate of Hazleton High School. She was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, Hazleton, where she was actively involved in numerous church activities prior to moving to Florida. She enjoyed gardening, puzzles, sewing and other crafts. She was a former member of Butler Twp. Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She previously worked for the former Public Shirt Factory, Hazleton and later in life part time at Perkins Family Restaurant, West Hazleton.
She was preceded in her death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Glen E. Albertson, who passed away May 27, 1999; brothers, Donald and William, and a sister Lorraine Kirschner.
Surviving are two daughters, Holly L. DeFrancesco, Jacksonville, FL and Tracey A. Chase, Spotsylvania, VA; grandchildren, Dante’ DeFrancesco and his wife Arrieauna; Alexandra DeFrancesco, Jaymes Chase, and step-grandchildren, Alicia Palmer and her husband John, and Albert J. Mastruzzo and his wife Stephanie; and three great-grandchildren Nevaeh, Lily and Walker. She is survived by her sisters, Betty Henderschedt, Mansfield, Texas and Lois Steiner, Hazleton, PA as well as many nieces and nephews.
