
Earl Vernon White was born 1952 in Lake One, Louisiana, to the late Carson Divine White, Sr. and Jeanette White. He was called home Wednesday, April 11, 2012, in his home at age 59 in Orange Park, Florida.
Earl confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Lake One, Louisiana. He later joined People’s Baptist Church in Ashtabula, Ohio. Earl’s love for the Lord was always present in his life.
He was a 1971 graduate of Jefferson Area High School in Jefferson, Ohio. He continued his academic studies at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
He served his country in the United States Navy from 1972 to 1976. He was honorably discharged and was employed by the Jacksonville Naval Base in Jacksonville, Florida until he retired in 2005.
Earl was fondly known for his love of family, fishing, and hunting in the great outdoors. His love for laughter and joking around was his trademark to the world.
He was a very proud brother, father, uncle, grandfather and friend. Preceding Earl in death were his parents, Carson Divine, Sr. and Jeanette White; brothers Carson Divine, Jr. and Cleveland White.
Earl leaves to cherish his memories his son, Earl Vernon White, Jr., Orlando, FL; a granddaughter, sisters: Catherine White (devoted caregiver), Orange Park, FL; Pamela (Alvin) Braddy, Columbus, OH; Annie (Tyrone) Butler, Cleveland, OH; brother: Paul White, Jacksonville, FL; nieces: Ashley Butler, Stephanie Butler, Sierra Braddy; nephews: Jason Butler, Bryan Braddy, Tyler Butler, and Christian Braddy; aunt: Alice Bell, Las Vegas, NV; and cousins from many destinations; and friends he cherished throughout the years.
