

Glen James Hebert, 65, died October 22, 2015 at home in Orange Park, FL, a victim of Agent Orange related cancers for the last 5 years. Glen, under hospice care for almost a year, died peacefully in his sleep and has gone home to be with the Lord Jesus, freed from suffering.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Claire Doris Hebert, in 2002, father, Everett Leo Hebert, in 2011, of Ocala, Fl, and son, Jeff E. Hebert, 41, May 23, 2015 of Middleburg, Fl. Surviving to appreciate his life and memory are his companion of 26 years, Bonnie Brown, daughter-in-law Angela Hebert, two grandsons, Kyle, 21 and Chase, 17; also surviving are his sister, Jane Burchett of Key West, FL and his brother, Paul Dumas of Seaside, OR.
Born in Providence, RI, July 16, 1950, Glen enlisted in the army after attending high school, doing two tours in Vietnam; his battle decorations include the Purple Heart and several others, being wounded twice. Out of the service, Glen lived in California, and was Plant Manager in many canning plants, before settling in Orange Park, FL in 1983.
He was a member of the VFW and the America Legion.
Long known for his faith in God, his positive outlook on life, and his sense of humor, Glen was always helping a person in need and could talk to anyone. Glen was a member of the Argyle Church of Christ, Rampart and Collins Road, for 17 years. A memorial service will be scheduled at 7 PM, October 27, 2015 at the Argyle Church of Christ with Pastor Ken Mick presiding. There will be no viewing.
