Mommy was the greatest mother in the universe.  Thank You JESUS. 

I miss my mother every day.  I'm looking forward to seeing to mother and father again in Heaven. I love you mom and miss you so much♡

I love you Mamita! Thank you for always being there for the family and offering so many words of wisdom. You taught us all how to love the Lord and what self-worth and integrity truly meant. You lived a life of servitude to Jesus and you are finally in your rightful place next to him and Papito in heaven! ❤️ I will NEVER forget your LAUGH and the way you said “JacksonBILLE” or the way you answered the phone - “AHHA?!” And I cherish becoming real friends with you into adulthood. We will all carry your love with us for the rest of our days and our children’s. You always called me “one of the Beagles (Beatles)” and I think you knew how much that meant to me. 😊 If there was food to be made, dishes to do, or a prayer to be said, you were ALWAYS there. Hugs and Kisses and all of our love forever. I know your’s and the Lord’s favor are upon our family. We love you and the journey is over now. Rest in Paradise Mamita! ❤️😘❤️ 

Mamita, you were the funniest, sassiest most brutally honest person I’ve ever known. I love you dearly for that! You loved all of us fiercely. We miss you so much, but know we’ll see you again one day in Heaven. Then you can tell us all how fat we still are :-) We love you Mamita❤️

In the words of the only grandmother I knew, "I am not anybody's grandmother, I am your mamita!" I can still hear her laugh and smell her popular 1950's powder. Mamita's attitude was tough, but her skin was just the opposite-soft and beautiful. As a young girl, I would watch her get ready for church, meticulously preparing herself from head to toe. She dressed to impress and had a purse to match every outfit and pair of shoes; Sunday's best Puertorican style. I learned many things from mamita, like using clear nail polish to coat costume jewelry and stop pantyhose holes from running, to eating sopa de pollo (homemade chicken soap) when sick. She could sing and poured her heart out to the Lord as if he sat in the front church pew listening. To know mamita was to know Jesus in the sense that he was always her focal point of conversation. She included God in every single aspect of her life-literally, from praying for street lights to change and thanking God for parking spaces in front of the store, lol. Oh mamita, I could never forget you..rest with the Lord now.  Love Delilah and kids


I love you so much. I had so many wonderful and special times with you growing up. You were there for me in so many ways and I hope you knew how much that meant to me. Thank you for loving me and my children the way you did. You were the only Grandmother I ever had and I’m so thankful for you.  I’ll hold you in my heart forever.

I have some very fond memories of my grandmother that will last a lifetime. She was a very strong soldier for the lord! Everyday she spoke his name and got down on her knee’s to pray. She was straight forward and spoke her mind. Her devotion and dedication to what she believed in the most is what inspires me. She had a goal, it was to teach all her kids to trust in the lord. I’d say she surpassed that goal, her entire family tree believes in him.  She will truly be missed.

Mamita my heart hurts because I miss you soo much.  At the same time I know you're happy because you are where you always wanted to be....home with the Father.  Thank you for my childhood memories of having a grandmother who always encouraged me to go to church and was proud of me.  You were my mamita, my friend.  I will always love you forever and will never forget you.  And I will ALWAYS be your Dunkin Donut.  Rest in glory! Untill we see each other again I love you❤️

To my Mother,
I will miss you very dearly.  You are my heart.  I have taken care of you with God”s help and I thank The Lord for that gift that he blessed me with.  Today will be the last day that I see you but I look forward on the day that I will be reunited with you forever.  That is my biggest hope and knowing that I will be thinking of you all the time and making believe that you are calling my name.

My fondest memory of Mamita as a child was witnessing a fervent style, strong woman praying on her knees.   I can't even begin to understand her struggles that catapulted her journey, the path to become a prayer warrior; little did I know then, that it would lay out a foundation for my life of prayer.  We now know that in the peace of our hearts, you stand in the Presence of Almighty Yeshua ushered into your new home He has prepared for you.  You represent the agility and tenacity for the women in our family to never stop praying.... the bloodline to LIFE.  We shall see you soon.

I am truly saddened by her passing.  She was the last of a WHOLE generation. How amazing is that. From what I remember as a child, she was funny, (very funny).  Huge faith in God and all his wonders. I remember her coming over in her car with my Mamita to come visit.  I remember the loooong walks from Evergreen where my grandmother lived to Rosedale where she lived, but you know what, because of those gestures I now have wonder memories of and with Abigail. I know she is now in heaven with the lords arms wrapped around her tightly and him saying, thank you for always believing in me. ❤️  Amen!!!

Mamita, what an amazing woman of God you were;  you loved Him and served Him so faithfully. You knew who He was and is, and who you were in Him, and you never waivered in that knowledge.  So much of the person that I am, and that walk that I have with the Lord, is because or your relentless intercession and the example that your life was. Thank you for the spiritual legacy that you have left us. Thank you for loving us so much that you stayed up in the middle of the night praying for us and constantly reminding us that Jesus loves us and that you did too. I love you with all of my heart and will miss you but  I know that great is your reward in Heaven  because of the life that you lived here and every time I think of Jesus welcoming you, I can hear Him saying, "Well done good and faithful servant." Mamíta was truly one of a kind Grandmother. She was very caring, yet ruled with an iron fist, which raised her family up to be a strong, independent, God fearing people. She lived a long life and was dedicated to the Lord. Mamíta was a perfect example of a prayer warrior and a steadfast believer of Christ. I’ve got some big shoes to fill ( :   I’ll surely see you again where we’ll be dancing together on the streets of gold! Jesus loves you and so do I.

Mamita welcomed me into the family and always made me feel accepted. She was always so kind to me and coming from her, was really special! I am grateful for the time I spent with her and the family she built that is now my family. She truly did leave a legacy of caring, supportive, loving people. 

Mamita was the sweetest, sassiest, honest, Jesus loving woman! She was so sweet to me from the day she met me (I think because she thought I was Spanish at first). There wasn't a time I was around her that she wasn't speaking her mind, telling someone they looked fat or sexy. It was either or. She always made sure everyone knew that Jesus loved them and so did she. I love you Mamita and know that you are up in Heaven watching down on us still staying remember Jesus loves you and so do I.

My mother Ines (Abigail) Soto was a wonderful Mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother.  She has always been the example of a strong Christian woman. She trusted God her entire adult life and has showed us to do the same. She had gone through much heartache with caring for our father who passed with ALZ, and yet still cared for and supported our entire family.  She volunteered in nursing homes to pray with others and loved to get dressed up for church.  She always loved attending church to worship and share Gods love.  We will miss my mother so much, 91 years just wasn’t enough. I thank God for our precious mother and look forward to seeing her and our father one day in Heaven.  I love you Mom, with all my heart.
