James Daniel Patterson

James Daniel Patterson was born December 7th, 1929, in Baxley, Georgia. He went home to be with Our Lord and Savior on Monday April 14th, 2025. James was a Korean War Veteran and Truck Driver for many years. He was a social butterfly and loved by everyone he met. James “Pat” Patterson will be missed.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Lois Beck Patterson, and both his parents Harmon Patterson(father) and Venetia Inez Miles Patterson (mother). Sister Evelyn Wanell Patterson Smith and her husband Alfred Smith.

He is survived by his only son Daniel Wayne Patterson and wife Tammy Patterson and Isabella Welch. His first daughter-in-law and the mother of his grandchildren Darlene Solly. Granddaughter Alexandria MCCann and husband James MCCann their children Liam, Alden, and Adalyn MCCann, and grandson Alexander Patterson and wife Marsha Lynn Patterson and their children Alliester and Lillianna “Lilly” Patterson. His sister Ruth Patterson Beck and her children Michael and wife Jan Beck, Richard Beck, Charles and wife Cathie Beck, and Pamela and husband Clay Isaac. Sister Carolyn Suzie” Patterson Miles, her late husband Pat Miles and their children Cindie Susan William and Lane Miles. Along with a host of brother and sister-in laws, nieces and nephews, friends and other extended family members to numerous to mention all by name.

Graveside will be held on April 26th at 10:00 AM at Jacksonville Memory Gardens located at 111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, Florida 32073.

Luncheon to follow at Biltmore Baptist Church located at 3525 Norman E Thargard Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32254.
