Kathleen O. Collins, age 94, of St. Augustine, Florida passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024 at at the Westminster Apartments. Kathleen was born January 30, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan . She retired from the Michigan School System at 55. Kathleen and her husband moved to the West Coast of Florida in 1992. When her husband, R.H. Collins passed, Kathleen then moved to Orange Park, Florida to be close to her family. Kathleen is preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Walker and grandson Kelly Cottrell. She survived by her loving and devoted children; Michael Collins (Judy) and Charlene Chandler (Ron Keiser), grandchildren; Michelle Peebles, Tammy Walker and Cheyanne Collins, seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Kathleen will be dearly missed and is in our hearts forever.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 1:00 pm. Family will receive guest from 12:30 - 1:00 pm at Hardage-Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home located at 127 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, Florida 32073. Pastor Rick Crews to officiate. Inurnment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery at 2:00 pm. located at 1040 KIngsley Ave., Orange Park, Florida 32073.
