Uncle Kenneth, You will be missed.
I remember all the times you would come visit mamaw Sylvia, and when we would come visit you when you were living in Holly Hills. You always gave me words of encouragement, and believed I would "make something good of myself" I hope I didn't let you down. The one thing I  always kept in the back of my mind,  was, I hope Uncle Kenneth is proud of what I've done. You made a major impact on my life, and my decisions, and for that I thank you. Say hello to Mom, mamaw Sylvia, papaw Herman, and uncle Blaine for me, and give them my love. My your rest be peaceful in a joyous eternity. 


Uncle Kenneth will truly be missed! I loved all my visits growing up and staying with him and Aunt Claudia. When they moved to Florida,  I remember being so excited to have them close by.  I loved watching him build the huge workshop! I love you and will miss you! Prayers to the Mabe family during this time.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Lee Mabe and mother, Myrtle Mae Miller-Mabe, as well as his brother, Boyd Bliss Mabe; sisters Sylvia Marie (Herman) Mabe-Caudill and Betty Jo (Dale, living) Mabe-Spencer. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 69 years, Claudia Mae Miller-Mabe; his two sons Gary Lee (the late Lana) Mabe and Terry Richard Mabe; three grandchildren Robin (Jason) Mabe-Barnard, Crystal (Marc) Mabe-McIntyre, Devin Richard Mabe; and four great-grandchildren Jacob Barnard, Jeremy Barnard, Mason McIntyre, and Tyler McIntyre; as well as several nieces and nephews.
