It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Faye Bias-McAllister (Crews), who left us on Friday, March 7, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on September 6, 1955, in Folkston, GA, to the late Carroll and Pauline Crews. Linda Faye was a devoted mother, grandmother, and the heart of the Crews Bias-McAllister family.
Linda Faye dedicated her life to creating a warm, nurturing home for all who entered. Her greatest joy was caring for her family, and she poured love, patience, and wisdom into everything she did. As a mother of two, a grandmother of three, and the middle child of eight siblings, Linda Faye's love extended to numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She touched the lives of everyone around her with her selflessness and devotion.
A loving mother, Linda Faye instilled in her children, Katrina and Robert, the values of hard work, dedication, and love for others. She supported and nurtured them, always keeping her eye on the end goal—raising children who would not only love and care for others in their personal lives but also in their careers, just as she did.
Before her illness, Linda Faye's home was the heart of family gatherings—Sunday dinners, holiday celebrations, and spontaneous family meetings. She had an incredible gift for remembering every birthday, anniversary, and special occasion in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Her thoughtful gestures, whether it was sending a card or making a call, ensured that her loved ones always felt special, valued, and never forgotten.
Linda Faye's timeless words of wisdom, unwavering love, and dedication to her family will leave an enduring legacy. The memories she has created will forever be cherished, and her love will remain with us all.
Linda Faye was predeceased by her parents, Carroll and Pauline Crews; her sisters, Carolyn Wright and Rhonda King; and her brother, Eddie Crews. She was also preceded in death by her two husbands, Kermit Bias (d. 1993) and AL McAllister, Jr. (d. 2019).
