

Michael Anthony Riccio, 79, passed away June 18, 2016. He was born December 4, 1936 in the Bronx, New York and resided in Hollywood, Maryland. Michael loved above all his family and the New York Yankees. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Navy and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. Mr. Riccio is survived by his wife of 56 years, Leveta C. Riccio, daughters; Mary S. Riccio and Jillian M. Riccio, sons; Thomas A. Riccio and Michael D. Riccio, grandchildren; Michael W. Lewis, John P. Lewis, James M. Erickson, Katie M. Galbo, Kaitlyn N. Riccio, Sophie M. Riccio, Brian Elmore, Kelley Elmore, Kristine Davis and Jeffrey Davis, and great grandchildren; Michael W. Lewis Jr., Boston M. Davis, Aiden Elmore, sisters; Ann Izzo, Angela Smith, Pat Guerin and Terry Marzo and brother Frank Smith, his numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers; Francis Riccio, John "Jack" Guerin, Benjamin Izzo and sister; Mary S. Riccio. A funeral service will be 10 AM Thursday June 23, 2016 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERMEAD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Blanding Blvd Orange Park, FL with 1 hour prior visitation. Interment will be 1 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road Jacksonville, FL. Guests, please arrive 30 minutes early to the cemetery and line up in lane #2.
