Dearest Pammie and sister, 
You prayed daily, you fought hard, struggling to be with your Soulmate, Barry from the day he left this physical world. 
God granted you this gift.
You chose your day. 
You lived life on your terms. 
You are the only woman I have had the honor of living this life with, together, that NEVER  had a harsh word or action for anyone.
You cherished family, friends, co-workers and definitely  your pupper dogs and kitties.
They too are with you now.
For 40 years, We have shared secrets, smiled, laughed and cried together.
I will miss you, my dear Pammie! 
My travel buddy! Thelma,  I’ll be lost girlfriend!!!
You are the best of the best and certain all were there for your entrance to “forever paradise!”
You were my Maid of Honor when I married my Soulmate, Bruce. And I’m certain he also saved a seat for you!
So I raise my glass......
“To a beautiful women, inside and out, who’s heart, soul, and memories  will live on forever!”

We were truly blessed to have Pam in our lives. She was a very caring nurse to so many of our residents. We were honored to have her come full circle into our care.  The compassion and love she showed to her patients is but one treasured memory we have. So many of us learned by example, and to be there for her in the same way for her final years and moments is a gift. We all thank you, Pam, and will miss you dearly. 

Pamela we will miss you so much and will always love you. Now you and Momma can have your Bombay nights together again. 

My dearest Pam. My heart breaks when I think about you not asking where’s Kat!   Or how I used to convince people to talk you into getting out of bed because I said so and I wanted you to stroll over and visit me on Campbell.   You always knew me,were always so excited to see me and for that and all the memories you gave me I thank you!   You weren’t just a patient/resident you were one of us!  You walked those halls and worked those hours and dealt with the roller coaster of emotions as a nurse in that same building and I am honored to call you my patient my friend and my colleague even tho I didn’t move to Florida until a few years after your retirement.   I wish I could have worked with you right along side of you!  I have heard stories about how wonderful and compassionate you were and still were when I met you!  I know you are rejoicing with Barry and I know how much you have missed him and longed for him these last few years.  For that I am happy but my heart breaks knowing I can know longer see your smile or feel your hugs or feel your kiss on my forehead!   I am so glad that I came up to sit with you in the hospital and hold your hand to tell you that it was ok I understood and how much you are loved and it brings happiness to my heart that I know you knew who I was and what I was doing there at that very moment!   I will miss you forever!   You were one of a kind  and I only aspire to be half the woman/nurse that you were!   Rest In Peace my Pam I will love you always and never forget you and what you meant to me!   My love goes out to Judy and Jon as I know how much u meant to them and they to you!  Until we meet again fly high with the angels holding Barry’s hand every inch of the way!

She is reunited once again with her beloved husband, Barry Gene Scott, her parents John Henry Bates Jr. and Helen Joyace Bates (Sharp), best friends and in laws, Anne Marie Scott (Spellman) and Charles Metz Scott Jr., and other family members. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Jonathan Edward McCormick, her brother and many sisters, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and  wonderful, trusted neighbors and friends.
