

Robert Emory Hildebrandt, age 59, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, in Orange Park, Florida. He was born on February 6, 1966, in Waycross, Georgia, to the late Robert and Frances Hildebrandt.
Robert was a devoted family man whose kindness and warmth were felt by everyone he encountered. He had a special love for his nieces and nephews and took great joy in being part of their lives. His gentle spirit, steady presence, and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Robert honorably served his country in the United States Navy from May 28, 1986, to July 29, 1994. Following his service, he was known for being exceptionally computer savvy, with a natural talent for computers and automation. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and share his knowledge.
A passionate football fan, Robert proudly supported the Dallas Cowboys and Florida Gators. He also had a deep love for the outdoors, which he considered his safe space. An avid gardener with a true green thumb, he found peace and joy tending to plants and spending time outside.
Robert was an adventurer at heart and loved traveling the open road, especially alongside his wife. He cherished the many trips they shared together, including visits to the Grand Canyon, Savannah, Georgia; Charleston, South Carolina; Chicago, Illinois; and Atlanta, Georgia. Their life together was rooted in faith, love, and unwavering dedication to one another.
Above all, Robert was deeply devoted to his wife, June Hildebrandt, the love of his life. They shared 28 beautiful years of marriage, a bond that truly stood the test of time and reflected a love marked by loyalty, respect, and companionship.
Robert also held a special place in his heart for his beloved dogs—Tootsie, Nemo, Layney, and Lulu—who brought him endless comfort and joy.
Robert is survived by his wife of 28 years, June Hildebrandt. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hildebrandt, and his mother, Frances Hildebrandt. He leaves behind a host of loving nieces, nephews, and extended family who will cherish his memory always.
A visitation will be held on February 5, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home, 127 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, Florida 32073.
A Committal Service with Military Honors will take place at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218, on February 5, 2026, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Please stage in Procession Lane 2.
