Roger ran his own title office for many years before going to law school at Florida Coastal and becoming an attorney. He was a practicing attorney for almost 20 years, including work with Three Rivers Legal Services, a group providing free legal services to low-income individuals.
Roger enjoyed traveling with his wife. He spent time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren when possible. In his spare time he could often be found with his nose in a book, usually James Patterson. He spoiled his pets Rascal and Cali terribly.
Roger is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Patricia L. Cruce; 2 sons: Scott (Suzanne) Beman and Richard Horn; daughter, Sandra (Jon) Hellmann; sister, Regina (Ed) Martinez;
7 grandchildren: Kayla, Kirsten, Katelyn, Julia, Jackson, Sarah and Samuel; 4 great-grandchildren: Zoey, Branson, Cory "Bear" and Declan; and host of extended family and friends.
