Diane Marie Pinkston

Diane M. Pinkston, age 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 28th, 2023. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Dawn (Nicholas Martin) Pinkston; cherished grandson, Miles Martin, sister, Debbie (Joe) Drozd and best friend, Lynda Neighbors. Preceded in death by her mother, Mary Giordano.

Diane was a graduate of Reavis High School in Burbank, Illinois. For many years, Diane worked to create a successful family trucking business. She later worked as an Office Administrator at Ameriprise Financial, helping the office run smoothly and supporting the financial advisors. Diane was always ready to lend a helping hand and did so with a smile on her face.

In her spare time, Diane enjoyed dancing, playing pinochle, listening to the “Oldies,” and gardening. She was a devoted mother, sister and friend. Diane will be fondly remembered by the many lives she touched.

A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, October 28th, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Orland Funeral Home, 9900 West 143rd Street, Orland Park, Illinois, with a memorial service beginning at 12:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Diane’s honor to the Susan G. Komen organization.
