

Lauren's life was marked by her endless curiosity, excitement for new experiences, nurturing spirit, and dedication to her artistic dreams. She had an infectious smile, a heart of gold, and she loved her family deeply. Lauren Moriarity was born on September 9th, 1998 and has entered eternal rest leaving a void her family cannot fill.
Lauren recently graduated from Columbia College Chicago with her Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design. She had one class this fall for her minor in Animation and was on track to pursue a graduate degree at DePaul in 2025. Lauren exemplified passion throughout her journey in Graphic Design. Lauren had a true gift to express herself through her creations and help others express their authentic selves alongside her.
Lauren is the beloved daughter of Christina Moriarity (mother) and Patrick Moriarity (father), and treasured by her sister Jenna Moriarity. Cherished granddaughter of Niki Sherwood, George Sherwood, Gerry Moriarity (deceased), and Jim Moriarity (deceased). Adored niece of Robert (Lisa) Sherwood, Tom (Kendra) Sherwood, Diane (Nick) Sarallo, Jimmy, deceased, (Monna) Moriarity, Colleen (Doug) Latos, Dan Moriarity, Cathleen (Wayne) (son Jeffrey deceased) Noll. Beloved cousin to Devon (Kayla) Sherwood, Brianna Sherwood, TJ Sherwood, Nickolas Sherwood, Emma (Walt) Foster, Rylee Sherwood, Anastasia Sarallo, John Sarallo, Sarah (Daniel) Whitt, Michael (Angela) Moriarity, Megan (Drew) Troppito, Molly (Alex) Valdez, Kurt Latos, Colin, Kylie and Corey Moriarity. Best friend to Meechy, Money, and Morrison.
A memorial visitation for Lauren will be held Monday, August 19, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00PM at Orland Park Home, 9900 W 143rd St, Orland Park, IL 60462, where a memorial service will take place at 6:00 PM.
Lauren’s compassion, creative hand, and spirit will be missed deeply. Lauren's legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and others who have been touched by her character.
