Richard J. Roeh, 96, a proud U.S. Navy veteran, passed away on December 15, 2025. He was the devoted husband of the late Marion (nee Walters), with whom he shared 67 loving years of marriage. Dedicated father to Linda (Bob) Jurgens, Robert, Barbara Webber, Mary Ellen (Tom) Perveiler, Brian (Margie), Michelle (Glenn) Miller, Richard (Amy), and the late Michael. Proud grandpa of 13, great-grandpa of 10, and great-great-grandpa of 1. Dear son of the late Hans and Catherine (nee Duggan). Fond Brother of Sharon (Greg) Crawford, Michael (Darlene), the late Marilyn (late Gene) Nicolai, and the late James (late Mary). Cherished uncle and great-uncle to many.
A Visitation for Richard will be held Friday, December 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Orland Funeral Home, 9900 W. 143rd St. Orland Park, IL 60462. Chapel service to follow directly at 2:00 PM. Richard’s final resting place and military honors will be Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, with internment at a later date.
