Adelaida Figueroa was born on November 18, 1931 in Albonito, Puerto Rico to the union of the late Rosario and Juana Rodriguez. She came to the United States in the 1950’s. There she met her husband Victor Plata Figueroa and was blessed with three children, Victor M. Figueroa, Sandra I. Potter and Fredeswinda Plata.
