On March 2, 2025, Ann Louise (Milewski/Braglia) Fournier was welcomed into the comforting arms of our Lord and her mother, Josephine Milewski, with her loving daughter & husband faithfully by her bedside. Ann was born on July 3, 1948 in Holyoke, MA to Josephine Milewski , attended Mater Dolorosa elementary school and Holyoke High School.
She remained in Holyoke until deciding to start her life of adventure on a cruise ship working as a hair stylist. While cruising the Mediterranean, she met her first husband, Bruno Braglia. After several years of cruising they decided to start a new life together and settled in South Hadley, MA. In 1976, Ann & Bruno were blessed with the birth of their beautiful daughter, Tiffany. Three short years later, their handsome son, Anthony, was born and completed their family.
Ann spent many happy years in South Hadley, as a devoted mother raising her family and keeping a meticulous home. Her time was gladly spent on her children, coordinating carpools, attending dance recitals, football games, and volunteering at Mater Dolorosa school just to be closer to Tiffany & Anthony. She cherished her Friday Bingo nights, while her mom watched the kids.
Through life’s twists & turns, the stars aligned for Ann and she found her way back to her childhood sweetheart, George Fournier. Ann & George were married in August 2002, and were blessed with 27 fun-filled glorious years together. They had the time of their lives vacationing, navigating the open road on George’s Harley or dancing the night away at the VFW. They eventually retired and settled in Englewood, FL, where they continued to live life to the fullest and formed so many wonderful friendships. Ann was so proud of her Polish heritage, and was fluent in Polish. She loved to carry Polish traditions through her cooking and was famous for her pierogi, golumpki and Polish breads. Of course, she was also very well known for her spaghetti “sauce”, which always seemed to be simmering in a big pot on the stove. You were beloved by Ann if she shared these special treats with you.
Ann was predeceased by her mother, Josephine Milewski, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond; her brother, James (Jimmy) Milewski and her sister-in-law, Carol Milewski. She is survived by her loving daughter, Tiffany Madrid, who was devoutly committed to managing her healthcare for many years and gave her access to only the best treatment during these last few months; and her loving son, Anthony Braglia and his wife, Gwen. Grandson, Alex Madrid, who was Ann’s ultimate treasure and source of all of her pride & joy also survives her, along with many nieces and nephews. Finally, Ann leaves behind the love of her life in her husband, George Fournier, who never left her side and her step-sons Paul Fournier (Lexy) and Steven Fournier (Brie) and Brother In-law Allen Fournier.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday April 4, 2025 at 10am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 12600 Marsfield Ave, Orlando, FL 32837. Reception to follow.
