Bettie Smallwood Jones

She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Bethel Smallwood and her husband Clifton Jones.

She is survived by her children, John (Nancy) Jones, Thomas (Sandra) Jones, David Jones, Marilynn Soto, Brenda Luddington (Rick), Sandra Thomas (Gary). She had 15 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.

She served alongside her husband in the ministry with her gift for music, playing the piano, working with the youth, women’s groups, missions, writing and directing dramas, and her special “Young at Heart” group. She had a love for the Lord that was contagious to all whom was blessed to call her friend. Her home was always open to all with a warm meal and warm heart and lots of laughter. She was faithful to send out a text with Scripture each morning to over 70 friends and family each day and even enjoyed keeping up with Facebook with her family and especially great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, April 23rd, at 11am at the First Christian Church of Winter Park. The Graveside memorial will be a private family ceremony.

The family asked in lieu of flowers that donations be made in memory of mom and given to the following mission that mom & dad supported.
