Chad Phillips

Chad Taylor Phillips, age 20, of Orlando, Florida, passed away Monday, September 20, 2010. Chad was born May 5, 1990 to Dan and Traci Phillips. A longtime resident, Chad graduated from Boone High School, class of 2008. He played baseball at Conway Little League, basketball for FBVA and loved the LA Lakers and Orlando Magic. Chad worked alongside his father and brother for Allstate Paving. The company he hoped to run one day himself. Chad had a deep love for his family and friends, especially his little sister Emma and his nephew Aiden. He loved Jesus as his Lord and Savior, Psalms 27. He loved all children, going on field trips with Emma, taking her to Universal and Monkey Jo’s, golf cart rides and Emma was always his date on Valentine’s Day. He was always the one to make us laugh. His warm hugs were always heartfelt. Our lives are changed forever. There will not be a day that goes by that we will not think of you and miss you so much. “I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living my baby you’ll be.” Chad is also survived by his two loving brothers, Corey and Garrett; his sweet baby sister, Emma; nephew, Aiden. Paternal Grandparents, Jack and Joy Phillips, Caroline Franklin; Maternal Grandparents, David and Linda Thorp, Donna Ingram, Greg Ingram. Great Grandmother, Marjorie Thorp; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends too numerous to count. Chad loved you all. Services will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 10:00 AM at First Presbyterian of Orlando. Friends may visit the funeral home on Friday from 5-8 PM.
