March 9, 1949 in Beaverdam, VA he was a longtime resident of
Fredericksburg who was passionate about sports and enjoyed
playing softball, football & golf.
He graduated from Patric Henry HS in 1968. He was drafted into
the Army and served 2 years in Vietnam as a medic. After
attending and playing football at Laney College in San Francisco
he returned to Fredericksburg and worked for VA Power as a
lineman in Fredericksburg for 11 years then for DOD at Fort
Belvior as an inspector and retired in 2010.
He is survived by his daughter Cathy Corker (grandchildren
Erica, Harmeir,”great” Naomi & Demetri) Son Christopher
Corker (granddaughter Lily), Son Derek Corker. Sisters, Patricia
Koontz, Jeanne Payne, Debbie Minter(Raymond), Virginia
Martin(Jackie), Lynn Goss(David), Brothers, Steven Corker,
David Corker(Renee), Jamie Shepperson(Amy)
