Rev. Dennis E. Glander

Rev. Dennis Glander was called to his heavenly home following a short illness. His constant companion and wife, Janice, was with him to the his last days on earth and was a comfort to him and appreciated by his four boys. He was active in the Lutheran Church for many years even after he finally retired in his 70’s. He is remembered by many for his sharp wit and gentle counsel.

Dennis served as Pastor at quite a few churches including Trinity Lutheran Church Corona South Dakota, Faith Lutheran Church Highland Michigan, Our Savior Lutheran Bad Axe Michigan, Holy Trinity Lutheran Blackduck Minnesota, Trinity Lutheran Harvel Illinois, Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Baker Louisiana, Peace Lutheran Church Warren Michigan, Trinity Lutheran Downtown Orlando Florida before retiring in Orlando. He was preceded in death by one son David in 1977 and his wife Ruth Patricia Glander in 2013. Following the passing of his beloved Pat, he was rejuvenated when he met and married his beloved Janice. He is survived by wife Janice Glander and four sons and their wives; Dennis & Colleen Glander, William & Cindy Glander, Matthew & Deborah Glander, and Karl & Ginny Glander, 16 grand children, and 16 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild
