

Doris E. Roberts age 89 passed away peacefully Monday, December 14, 2015 at Life Care Center of Altamonte Springs. Mrs. Roberts was born on October 7, 1926 in Miami, Florida. Mrs. Roberts was a long time resident of Orlando, where she worked for T. G. Lee Dairy for many years as a bookkeeper. She later became the first “Golden Girl” for T.G. Lee Dairy. She later worked for the Orange County Sheriff’s Office as the personnel officer where she retired. She was active Sunday School teacher, loved to study scripture and attended Central Florida Bible College. Preceded in death by her husband, James C. Roberts, parents Arthur & Elise Beck and infant daughter Sherry; grandson Christopher J Roberts. Survivors include her children Carolyn (Peter) Gentry-Larson, Linda (Avert) Woody Bumpers and Chris L. (Michelle) Roberts; brother Edwin (Rene) Beck; grandchildren; Lewis (Shawn) Wilhelm; Scott (Sarah) Wilhelm; Sean Woody; Shana (Jason) Garrett, Maggie (Rob) Tomlinson; great-grandchildren Clinton, Taylor and Leighton Wilhelm, Ethan Wilhelm, Jackson Woody, Colton and Canaan Garrett, Daniel and Michael Tomlinson. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Downtown Baptist Church Orlando.
