Eric Wallace Heflin

October 14, 1958 - March 27, 2026

Eric Heflin, 67, passed away on March 27, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, devotion to family and a life well lived.

Eric was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Brenda, and a proud father to his son, Dean. He spent much of his life building and operating a successful landscaping business in the greater Orlando area, where he was known for his strong work ethic, attention to detail and the relationships he built with his clients and community.

Beyond his work, Eric had a deep passion for mentoring young people. He dedicated many seasons to coaching little league baseball, where he was admired not only for his knowledge of the game but for his patience, encouragement and the positive impact he had on the lives of the players he coached.

Eric found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved motorcycles, music and especially playing the guitar, which was one of his favorite pastimes. He also cherished time spent near the water, enjoying shore fishing sand peaceful moments along the coast. Above all, he treasured time with his family, creating lasting memories with those he loved most.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Kathryn; his Father, Wallace; and his brother Joe.

Eric is survived by his loving wife, Brenda; his son, Dean and Daughter-in-law, Jena and his cherished grandchildren-Olivia and Sage, who brought him immense pride and joy. Eric will be remembered for his steady presence, kind heart and unwavering dedication to his family. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the lessons he shared and the love he gave so freely.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am on April 17, 2026 at Highland Memory Gardens in Apopka, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to spend time with loved ones, enjoy the outdoors and honor Eric's memory by embracing the simple joys of life.
