FRANCES JANE WALDRON SMTIH, 82, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2012. She was raised at Bay Lake in north Marion County, and was one of six in the 1952 class at Orange Memorial School of Nursing. She married W.A. "Al" Smith and lived in south Orange County, Florida. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in April. She is survived by four children, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida, Inc.
