Jesus Alberto Anzola, 70, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He brightened our world with his kindness and compassion, and embraced each day with an easygoing spirit, always enjoying the simple pleasures life offered him.
Born in Medellin, Colombia on January 2, 1955 to Alberto and Esther Anzola, Jesus lived a life defined by his deep devotion to family, hard work, and the joy he found in uplifting those he loved.
In the 1980s, he began a new chapter in America by moving to Queens, New York, where he honed his prodigal chess skills in the parks of Jackson Heights and built lasting memories with his growing family. Later, he and his family moved to Orlando, Florida, where he worked at Walt Disney World until his well-deserved retirement in 2020.
He is lovingly survived by his children, Diana Anzola and Alberto Lenin Anzola; his grandchildren, Camila Alexa Maldonado and Lucas Anthony Maldonado; his mother, Esther; and his siblings, Cesar, Teresa, Luis, Ruby, Martha, and David.
A visitation to celebrate Jesus’s life will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Family Funeral Care, 13001 S John Young Pkwy, Orlando, FL, 32837. Friends and family are invited to share memories and offer condolences online via the "Add a Memory" section.
