John Paul Butterworth

John Paul Butterworth, 87, passed away on November 9, 2018 in Orlando, Florida. He was born on July 8, 1931 in Egan, Tennessee to the late Dr. A.D. Butterworth and Novella Butterworth. John is pre-deceased by Clara O. Butterworth (Wife, 1993), James R. Butterworth (Son, 1993) and Nancy Jo Butterworth (Daughter, 2017). He is survived by his daughters Kimberly Russo (Thomas) and Karen Marich (David) along with his grandchildren Kristin Porteous, Keith Lance, Joseph Major, Alex Marich and Tyler Marich.

John was a Microbiologist for most of his life. In his spare time he enjoyed swimming, fishing, watching football and most importantly spending time with his family. John was a man of many talents, at one point he even owned his own grocery store with bait and tackle. Everyone who knew John will remember him for his hard work ethic, his unconditional love and for his smile that would light up any room.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Family Funeral Care. A visitation for John will take place on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Family Funeral Care in Orlando, Florida. Following the visitation will be a funeral service set to begin at 11:00am. John will be laid to rest with a private family ceremony at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge, Florida.
