God called John to his side on March 8, 2011, after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. He was born on March 11, 1947, in Philadelphia, PA, to Dorothy and John Mullin. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Patricia, who was also his best friend and childhood sweetheart, his, son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Cortni Mullin, Littleton, CO, his precious grandchildren, Kane and Imree Mullin, his sister, Annemarie, St. Cloud, FL, his sister and brother-in-law, Grace and Jim Rosenburg, his niece, Jamie Rosenburg, his nephew and wife, Michael and Karen Rosenburg, their triplets, Marcus, Nora, and Owen, and John’s adoring four-legged kids, Cocoa and Cosmo.
John attended Cardinal Dougherty High School and the Philadelphia College of Science and Pharmacy. After proudly serving in the U.S. Army, John and Pat returned to Philadelphia where John managed the Modern Pharmacy for 24 years.
In 1992 they moved to Orlando, FL, and became WDW Cast Members. In his eighteen years with Walt Disney World, John assisted in the opening in WDW of World of Disney, MouseGear, and Disney Photo Imaging and at Disneyland’s opening of World of Disney. He loved photography, and he felt that he had found his dream job at Disney’s PhotoPass. His compassion, honesty, and integrity are what made him a huge success in his life, and he was very passionate about his family, friends, fellow workers, and guests. He was a recipient of the Partners in Excellence Award, which is a peer-nominated, merit-based honor, and was loved by his team for his fair and caring attitude. We were blessed by his presence and know he is soaring with angels at God’s side.
