I was very sad to hear recently of Larry's passing.   My thoughts go out to Noemi and all of his family and great friends.  I know if you were a friend of Larry's, you were a good one - he wouldn't have it any other way.  I had the pleasure of being Larry's friend and co-worker for nearly 10 years at Hertz.  I always valued Larry's great knowledge and experience,  as the FNG, I appreciated his support, as well as his very frank nature.  Almost universally, the two of us were aligned with how things  at work and in life "should be".  Though I never had the pleasure of riding with Larry (I'm in California), motorcycling was certainly a passion we shared.  Larry loved to reminisce about his days of successfully campaigning  drag bikes, in Biloxi, MS to be specific.  Larry shared with me once copies of newspaper clippings from the races, with photos of him in action.  I looked, hoping I could share them here, because I know how much that meant to him.  Sorry to let you down with that friend.  God speed Larry!  You will be missed!  

I have so  many memories of Larry & Noemi, I’ll never forget our motorcycles trips in the pouring rain, Larry saying “just get use to it if your going to ride with us”. He was one of the toughest guys I’ve ever known when it come to motorcycle riding, a dear friend who I will miss Forever. I thank the Lord I had the privilege of meeting him !

This is my sister Donna with my brother Larry.  She met them in October to help Larry clean off the cemetery.  Like me, she loves our brother with all her heart.  We are both struggling so much with his passing since we lost our youngest brother Tommy 9 years ago.  We are the only 2 left of us "Musick Kids" as we called ourselves.  Like me, she is waiting to join them and have that "reunion" the 3 of us talked about.    Since being separated as children and getting back together as adults, Larry's passing is all the more devastating.  We both love you Larry so very much and are mourning your passing more than anyone could possibly understand.

I met Larry in 1993 when I moved to Orlando with Hertz.   Over the years I kept in touch talking with Larry every few months until he passed.  He was a good friend.  I wrote Larry a poem which he said he really enjoyed.  My hope is to see him again one day........"
Heaven with Me" 
The God of Glory has given me a story.
He gave His son Jesus, who died to save us. 
In the Bible we’re told, for silver He was sold. 
To the cross He was hung, as the mob lashed their tongue. 
A crown of thorns he wore, His wounds for our sin bore. 
God’s wrath was fierce, His side a spear did pierce. 
On the cross as Jesus died, some watched and some cried.
Others the Son of God jeered, others just feared. 
Temple curtain torn in two, to God a way made for me and for you.
Three days in the grave, He was then risen to save.

Jesus was more than able, and prepared for us a seat at His table.
He hung on that tree, and by His Spirit I’m made free.
Shame’s control in my life; power gone of sin and strife. 
My past is just history, in Jesus the victory.

For Christ my King, so praises to Him I will sing!
So, you my friend, in heaven with Jesus for eternity spend
Humbly at His feet bow, don’t wait do so now.

Heaven the hope of eternity, this you can know with certainty. 
In Jesus you will learn, from sin you must turn.
For when you repent, God’s wrath will relent.  
It is faith alone in Him, for in this you will win.
Jesus the man was God in the flesh, for your sin He died to refresh.
The truth of Jesus His Spirit will reveal, my hope is then to Him you will kneel. 
Run to Him, for peace and life the pardon of sin. 
Don’t delay and don’t wait; or you may just be too late.  
Come to Jesus and see, for to heaven with me.


Mr Melody…you hated when I called you that as a child and you finally told me so on our last trip to the mountains. We laughed together about it. We laughed at so many things. So many inside jokes on the road that only we got.
 “Damn motorcyclists” “Look there’s a nice fixer upper” “Hey wonder what Dennis is making for dinner?”  Only you would drive for two hours through a snow storm to get me McDonald’s pancakes. Not to mention the time you came home with a Wawa staff tie dye tee shirt that you bought off of the cashiers back for me! I could go on and on.  Bottom line is I’ll miss you more than words can ever say. You’re were my Step Dad, my advisor, my mechanic and above all my friend. Who will I call when I’m driving around Orlando lost?  
Please watch over us and please “wait as long as you can”

Our careers crisscrossed over many years including our time with Hertz.  We had similar interests in hunting, fishing and shooting.
We spent many days at the range competing against each other.
Larry never missed a chance to tell anyone he was a Marine and I was Army.  Larry was my friend for 39 years.   

With sincere condolences and memories of better times... from the "Bonneville Gang".  Ride in Peace brother...

I can not say enough about this man I called my Boss. He was best boss I have ever had. Larry was my best friend I love you and with this heavy heart I can say I miss you already. What a true friend you where to me all the great times we had together shooting our guns and deer hunting .  When Noemi got sick you showed me what a real husband should be like. My wife Connie has great memories of taking care of Noemi while Larry went away for a break. Me and my wife Connie will be here for Noemi for what ever she needs we love her like she was our own Sister. May God Bless the family as we all greave the loss of a great man that Larry truly was . He was one of the best bosses I ever had ..I remember my last day at Hertz and he pulled up on his Harley just to tell me goodbye....He was a very special man and had a big heart that not too many people saw ..Alot of people didnt particularly like him but I always said if he ask you a question answer it honestly because he already knew the answer ....He will be missed very much .. Prayers for all of his family .. 

Larry and I worked together at Hertz for a good number of years... But have stayed in touch over the years...
He was always a spirit that will be near me..

Larry was mine and my sister Donna's big brother and we loved him with everything that is in us. I can't believe he has passed and I am really struggling. The last time I was in Florida to visit him, he took me alligator hunting! We had soo much fun. Because of my health issues, I haven't seen him in the last few years, but miles never made us distant. He is with our younger brother Tommy now and they are probably talking each other's ears off. Larry, you are and will always be our big brother and we can't wait till we see you and Tommy again.
