

Born in Batangas, Philippines, Lita grew up there and received her early education at St. Bridget’s College. She went on to earn a degree in Zoology from University of Santo Tomas in 1964 and completed her certification in medical technology at St. Elizabeth Hospital in 1965.
Lita dedicated her professional life to healthcare, serving as a medical technologist for 45 years. Her career spanned six states—Ohio, South Carolina, California, Hawaii, Virginia, and Florida—with the majority of her service in Orlando, where she ultimately retired. Her work was marked by diligence, precision, and a deep commitment to patient care.
A devoted Catholic, Lita was a faithful parishioner of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life and guided her devotion to family, service, and community.
Lita had a deep love of travel, reading, and gardening. An avid traveler, she journeyed widely, from Finland to Thailand, embracing new cultures and experiences with curiosity and joy. She had a special passion for orchids, which she lovingly tended and admired.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Lita is survived by her beloved husband of almost 60 years, Jose Lavarro Infante; her children, Jose Ian Infante (Michele), Jeannie Rebecca Infante, and Ricci Rounds Sarni (Mark Herold); and her cherished grandchildren, Taylor Sarni, Cameron Sarni, Alex Infante, Jacob Sager, Jillian Sager, and Lauren Infante.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aurelia Argente and Domingo Argente.
Visitation will be held on February 1, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Baldwin Fairchild Conway Funeral Home. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church of Orlando, FL at 11:00 AM on February 2, 2026. A committal service will take place on February 2, 2026, from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
Lita will be remembered for her quiet strength, generosity of spirit, love of learning and travel, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.
