

Mrs. Lorice Bernard, 74, of Kissimmee, Florida, passed away at her home on January 31, 2026, from natural causes. She was born on November 27, 1951, in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, Jamaica, to Edgar Morgan and Ivy Saunders.
After graduating from high school in Jamaica, Lorice migrated to Canada in the early 1970s, where she earned an associate degree in nursing. She dedicated several years to the healthcare field, serving with compassion and care. In 1984, she married her beloved husband, the late Francis Bernard, and later transitioned into the beauty industry, a field in which she would truly flourish.
Together, Lorice and Francis built a successful haircare business, founding Advance Design Beauty Salon. Throughout her career, Mrs. Bernard earned numerous certifications, accreditations, and recognitions, reflecting her commitment to excellence and her passion for her craft.
Despite her busy professional life, Lorice always made time for her faith, her family, and her friends. She found great joy in church fellowship and service. An avid traveler, she explored many parts of the world, including Hawaii, China, and various countries throughout Europe, and enjoyed multiple cruises. She delighted in sharing stories and cherished memories from her travels with those she loved.
Mrs. Lorice Bernard was a constant source of encouragement and inspiration. She had a gift for uplifting others and consistently urged her family and friends to pursue their dreams, work diligently, and live with purpose.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Morgan and Ivy Saunders; her husband, Francis Bernard; her son, Andrew Bernard; her brothers, Stanford Morgan and Gregory Morgan; and her sister, Dorothy Morgan.
Mrs. Lorice Bernard leaves to cherish her memory, her brother, Norman Robertson; her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; along with many other loving relatives and dear friends. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
