Manolessos Platis, age 84, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. Manolessos was born October 25, 1933. Monolessos loved having his fresh juice every morning from his tree’s. He was very talented at planting. Loved to watch things grow, Sunday Church was always on his weekly schedule. He loved to eat anything Angie made, he loved his cheeses… his nightly routine was tea time with his family whether in Florida, New York, California, Greece… He always loved going upstate New York with his brother Marco, and many other friends.

Poppouli was always a hands-on man. He carried himself with pride. He was a gentleman. He was the most loving husband, Amazing Father, and perfect Grandfather. He loved his family with all his heart. Poppouli loved to fix things. He loved to paint. He loved to make jokes and make everyone smile. He loved watching jeopardy and play with twirling his hair. He enjoyed spending time with the love of his life. To Travel with her anywhere especially to see their children & grandchildren. He loved to visit his birthplace Santorini. He loved listening to Greek music. He was young at heart. His favorite was yiayias stuffed tomatoes and peppers. He always enjoyed his night walks. Monolessos would want his legacy to be that his children & grandchildren will carry on his positivity, kindness, and selflessness. To always stick together no matter what. Live a life fulfilled with love, and complete happiness

A visitation for Manolessos will be held Thursday, October 4, 2018, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Family Funeral Care, 13001 South John Young Pkwy, Orlando, FL 32837. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 5, 2018, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox of Greater Orlando, 1217 Trinity Woods Ln, Maitland, FL 32751. A graveside service will occur Friday, October 5, 2018, from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US-1, Mims, FL 32754. A burial will occur at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 Us Highway 1, Mims, Florida 32754-4810.
