She was born Margaret Anne Reimels on October 30th, 1927 in East Meadow, New York, to Christopher and Elizabeth Reimels in the farm house she would spend her entire childhood in. She graduated from Hempstead High School in 1945 and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Dowling College on May 25th, 1980. In addition, she also earned her New York State teaching certificate.She married Paul E Divan Jr. on May 29th, 1949. They had four children, Paul, Patricia, Margaret and James. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid golfer and continued to play until 3 weeks before her death. She is survived by her husband Paul, her four children, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A celebration of live will be held on March 16th, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, in Orlando Florida.
