Margaret Marie Thomas of Orlando, Florida went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. She was born in Chicago, Illinois. She was 101 years old. Mom loved the Lord, loved her family and loved this country. S|he proudly served in WWII. Our mother enjoyed- spending time at the beach with her grandchildren, sewing, knitting caps for the homeless,. She loved cooking for her family which she was famous for soups and angel food cakes. Mom was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church since 1947. We are so thankful for the wonderful ladies and the Hospice helpers who care for her. With their help our mother was able to continue living in her home.
She is survived by her son Weston Thomas(Agnes)and daughter Denise McKinney(David). Mom had seven grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday July 11, 2025. 1:00 PM@ Trinity Lutheran Church,
