

Marlene Andre was born on May 28th 1946 to Clemence Francois and Severis St. Jour in Petit Trou De Nipples, Haiti. She was raised in a catholic family. When Marlene was 24 years old she came to the U.S for more opportunities. Marlene was the eldest of her Mother’s children, so when they arrived from Haiti she made sure she took care of her brother and sisters. Family was very important to her, she even unofficially adopted daughters of her deceased sister and have many godchildren. Marlene was married to Jean-Claude Andre, they met on the steps outside of St. Theresa church in New York. They went off to be married for 52 years and having two handsome sons. Marlene was devoted to blessed mother and rosary, going to church was a priority for her and made it important for her family. Marlene was a very hand-working women, she worked at her last job for 30 plus years and retired at 65. After retirement Marlene decided to buy a house in Orlando, Florida with her husband. She then enjoyed her golden days spending time with her grandchildren, baking and doing crossword puzzles. Marlene was loved by everyone who knew her. She was a devoted mother and aunt, she was the aunt that liked to take all her nieces and nephews out too have fun. With her love for baking she also loved cooking for her loved ones. Marlene would cook every weekend and if she knew you were coming over, there was always a hot meal waiting. She was a quiet women with a loving and giving spirit, welcomed her son’s friends and was respected by everyone. Marlene was so caring up until her last days she made sure she called or texted to check up on family.

Her grandchildren- Zion, Mariah, Xavier, Elijah, Maya and Liam
Her brothers and sisters- Yverose Moise, Mireille, Mythra, Rosemary, George, Yvrose St. Jour, Yves and his wife Patricia
Her nieces and nephews - Martine, Rachelle, Medgina, James, Junior, Yveto, Yva, Yveza, Yvans, Yveno, Yvo & her godson Sam
Her great nieces and nephews - Tusheena, Rayshawn, Jordan, Jaiden, Ariel, Brianna, Isaiah, Jayla
Who she all loved so greatly
She will truly be missed
