

Mary Frances Middleton, born 21 April 1936, in Greenville, Alabama, Frances passed away at home on 22 August, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She moved to Orlando in July, 1961 and became active in a variety of organizations. She was a “Pink Lady” at ORMC, held all the offices of the Conway Garden Club, served as treasurer for Florida Federation of Garden Clubs and Orlando Opera Guild, PTA member, editor of District 47 Toastmasters magazine, assisted in assigning high school basketball and football officials for 35 years, Member of the Citrus Club for 37 years, and Member of the CFOA Hall of Fame. After a short career in accounting and banking she was a stay at home mom for her two sons and her five grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Europe, South America and India. She made a friend everywhere she went and entertained visitors from around the world in her home, serving her special style of Southern Cooking. She met her husband, Morris, in the 3rd grade, they dated in high school and were married for 57 years. She is survived by husband Morris, her sons Mike (Gay) and David (Bev), five grandchildren Samantha (Todd) LeStourgeon, Chad (Jessica), David, Lauren (Eric) Murphy and Scott Gianchetta (Danee) , six great grand children and two sisters Marilyn Eddins and Delores Peavey of Mobile, Alabama. A Memorial Service will be held at Colonial Chapel (Carey Hand) 2811 East Curry Ford Road on 8 September at 1:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held immediately after the service at 1940 Conway Gardens Road.
