Mike Bohumil Cooper

Mike B. Cooper, 91, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on April 24th, 2025. He is survived by his wife Barbara (Watson) Cooper from Orlando Florida. His five children: Michael J. Cooper (Tracy) Orlando, FL., Diane Muzenjak (Daniel) Placitas, New Mexico, Karen Boyce (Robert) Punta Gorda, FL. , Sherry Santaniello (Thomas) Orlando Fl. and Larry Shamblin, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. He has 8 Grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Mike was born in Prague, Czeck Republic and immigrated to the United States during the war. He joined the US Army where he served for 5 years, then became a US citizen. He moved to Miramar, Florida where he raised 5 children with his wife Barbara of 56 years. After building a house together in Big Pine Key Florida, they moved there to enjoy retirement . Mike loved fishing and boating, traveling around the country in their RV and spending time with their friends.

His last move was to Orlando , Florida to be nearer to his family. He always said “ Life is Good”.

Mike will have a Military Honors Funeral at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.

A private Celebration of Life was held for his family and close friends at his Orlando home.
