

Norma Benita Alayza was born on March 21, 1944 in Arequipa, Peru. She was raised by her mother Maria Pajuelo as the youngest daughter and third oldest sibling to Betty Cuadros, Nelly Bocanegra, and Luciano Zorilla.
At the age of four, Norma moved with her family to Lima, Peru. She grew up in the city and when she became of age, worked at a shoe store called Bata. Soon she met Julio Alayza whom she was with for ten years before marrying in 1970.
In January of 1971, Norma and Julio immigrated to the United States and settled in Paterson, New Jersey. In May of the same year, Norma gave birth to her first daughter Jessica. Norma had her second daughter Sheila in 1974 and third child Richard in 1980.
In 1989, Norma and her family moved to Orlando, Florida. She worked 20 plus years in Universal Studios as a Server within Food & Beverage.
Norma will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in her passing by her mother, Maria.
Norma is survived by her husband, Julio; daughters Jessica Rendon (Jairo) and Sheila Alayza; son Richard Alayza; sisters Nelly Bocanegra and Betty Cuadros; brother Luciano Zorilla; grandchildren Jazmyn, Jonathan, Tasiel, Gianna, Ahnais, and Ziel; and many other close family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4:30pm-9pm on Sunday, January 4 at Family Funeral Care, 13001 S John Young Parkway, Orlando, Florida 32837.
Service will be held at 2pm on Monday, January 5 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Orlando, Florida.
Arrangements are under the care of Family Funeral Care.
